Lovely and rather uncommon 8x10-inch black and white publicity portrait in Victorian attire in her prime, boldly signed and inscribed in black fine-tip pen in the 1980s. In good condition, with some white patches at the bottom, embedded in the original photo print. Flashy, leggy, bouffant blonde Dorothy Provine was memorable in The Bonnie Parker Story (1958), sci-fi's The 30-Foot Bride of Candy Rock (1959), The Alaskans (1959), It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (1963), The Great Race (1965), and That Darn Cat! (1965). She vanished from the screen around age 40 and died quietly, in undeserved obscurity, in 2010.
