Cat. #002092: JULIET PROWSE

Sorry, this item has already been sold.

Uncommon and quite lovely 10x8-inch color portrait in her prime, boldly signed in black felt-tip marker in her later years. In very good condition. Lovely South African singer, dancer and actress Juliet Prowse-- famed for her spectacular 39-inch-long set of gams-- created stirs with her raunchy terpsichory in Can-Can (1960) and steamy romance with Frank Sinatra. On the big screen, she was memorable in G.I. Blues (1960) with Elvis Presley, The Right Approach (1961), The Second Time Around (1961), and Mona McCluskey (1965) before settling into T.V. roles. Prowse died of cancer at the age of 59 and her autograph is getting rather elusive.
