Cat. #0021921: TONY RANDALL

Sorry, this item has already been sold.

Tough to find authentic vintage fountain pen signature-- note that all of those through-the-mail "autographed" photos from later in his life were secretarially signed-- on a 4x4-inch portion of a tan album page, acquired in-person by inveterate collector Howard Davis in the 1950s and decorated with a small book image. In good condition, with slightly uneven trimming to the edges, and nice for matting with a favorite photograph. Witty, urbane comic actor Tony Randall was charming in films like Pillow Talk (1959), 7 Faces of Dr. Lao (1964), Robin and the 7 Hoods (1964), Send Me No Flowers (1964), and Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Sex (*But Were Afraid to Ask) (1972), but will always be best remembered for his portrayal of the compulsively neat, ever-irritating Felix Unger on T.V.'s "The Odd Couple" (1970-1975).
