Scarce vintage inscribed black fountain pen signature on a 4x6-inch yellow autograph album page, acquired in-person in the 1930s. In good condition for its age. Director and producer Gregory Ratoff was also a noted character actor, unforgettable, with his heavy accent and hefty build, as various eccentrics, harried hotheads, and villainous foreigners. Among his best-loved credits are I'm No Angel (1933), Sally, Irene and Mary (1938), Intermezzo: A Love Story (1939), The Great Profile (1940), and All About Eve (1950). He died from leukemia at the age of 63, just after filming Exodus (1960).
