Scarce, quite pretty vintage 8x10-inch black and white portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in turquoise ballpoint pen in the 1950s. In good condition, with a minor crinkle to one corner tip. Ravishing model and leading lady Paula Raymond was a veritable Queen of the "Bs", memorable in a mixed bag of horror, sci-fi, fantasy, and thriller flicks like Night Has a Thousand Eyes (1948), Crisis (1950), The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms (1952), City That Never Sleeps (1953), The Flight That Disappeared (1961), and Hand of Death (1962), Blood of Dracula's Castle (1969). The actress' career suffered a serious blow in 1962, when her car collided with a tree on Sunset Boulevard, causing the rear-view mirror to sever her nose, which prompted intensive, and arguably not successful, plastic surgery.
