Scarce vintage 8x10-inch black and white portrait by Maurice Seymour, boldly signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint pen in 1955. In good condition, with a few minute flecks of soiling to the lower right-hand corner tip. The tragic personal life of emotionally provocative songbird Lillian Roth, who also enjoyed a brief career in films, including Animal Crackers (1930) with the Marx Brothers, was the basis for the Susan Hayward classic I'll Cry Tomorrow (1955).
