Rare vintage signature in blue ballpoint pen on a 4x6-inch pale pink autograph album page, acquired in-person by inveterate collectors Rose and Irene Geller in the 1950s and decorated with a small magazine image. Some show-through from a signature of Patricia Medina on the verso; otherwise, in good condition for its age. Matronly character actress Selena Royle exuded warmth and sincerity in scores of classic films, including The Fighting Sullivans (1942), Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo (1942), Night and Day (1946), Joan of Arc (1948), and The Heiress (1949). In 1953, she starred as the unnamed mother in Phil Tucker's cult horror, sci-fi and fantasy B-picture Robot Monster, alternatively credited-- to hide her good name, most we imagine!-- as Selena Royale.
