Highly rare vintage 7.75 x 9.8-inch glossy black and white portrait as the cranky matriarch of the Clampett clan, boldly signed and inscribed in black ink to Hollywood columnist Jimmy Star: "Dear Jimmy / How many years / but Granny / loves ya /Fondly / Irene Ryan."In fine condition, with three slightly trimmed borders, as the piece was once displayed in a frame. Irene Ryan already had a lengthy, if modest, career in vaudeville, film and radio before becoming a sensation as Granny on T.V.'s “The Beverly Hillbillies” (1962-1971) at age 60 in 1962.
