Scarce vintage fountain pen signature on a 3.75 x 5.5-inch off-white album page, acquired in-person in the late 1940s. In very good condition and ideal for matting with a favorite photograph. Note that the image of the star shown alongside the scan of the autograph here is not actually included. Gorgeous brunette pin-up and B-movie favorite Sheila Ryan, who died of lung disease at age 54, was memorable in The Gay Caballero (1940), The Farmer's Daughter (1940), Dressed to Kill (1941), the Charlie Chan flick Dead Men Tell (1941), the Laurel and Hardy Fox films Great Guns (1941) and A-Haunting We Will Go (1942), The Gang's All Here (1943), The Big Fix (1947), and The Cobra Strikes (1948). She also had a small role in The Mad Doctor (1940).
