Scarce vintage inscribed blue fountain pen signature on a 4x5-inch light green autograph album page, acquired in-person following a stage appearance in the 1940s. In good condition, with a square-shaped patch of toning where a small magazine image had once been affixed to the page by the original collector. Great character actor Howard St. John, who was typically cast as unsympathetic types, was notable in classic films like Born Yesterday (1950), Strangers on a Train (1951), Three Coins in the Fountain (1954), The Tender Trap (1955), I Died a Thousand Times (1955), Li'l Abner (1959), and Strait-Jacket (1964).
