Very rare vintage fountain pen signature on a 2x4-inch tan card, dating to the early 1930s. In good condition, with a faint crease to the upper area. Novelist and screenwriter John Monk Saunders, who was married to scream queen Fay Wray, won an Oscar for his script for Cimarron (1930), and is also remembered for Wings (1927), The Docks of New York (1928), The Last Flight (1931), and Ace of Aces (1933). He drank himself to death at the age of 44 and his autograph is quite elusive in any format.
