Scarce and nifty vintage 5x7-inch black and white portrait, boldly signed in blue ballpoint pen.  In very good condition.  Best known for his portrayal of the titular lieutenant on T.V.'s "Kojak" (1973-1978), chrome-domed character actor Telly Savalas excelled at playing sadists, psychotics and hotheads in films like Birdman of Alcatraz (1962), The Interns (1962), Cape Fear (1962), The New Interns (1964), The Greatest Story Ever Told (1965), Genghis Khan (1965), Battle of the Bulge (1965), Beau Geste (1968), The Dirty Dozen (1967), the James Bond classic On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969), and Kelly's Heroes (1970).  He is also remembered by fans of the horror, sci-fi and fantasy genres as the no good stepfather who is done in by the hocked-off Talking Tina on the classic "Talking Doll" episode of T.V.'s "The Twilight Zone" (1963).
