Exceptionally rare and quite beautiful 11 x 8.5-inch membership certificate for the Pontifical Society for the Propagation of the Faith, boldly signed in October of 1953 in blue fountain pen by Fulton J. Sheen, who was then National Director, and in black fountain pen by the Diocesan Director, who also filled out the recipient's name and the date. In good condition, with a minor crease to the upper area, invisible when the document is viewed head-on. Spellbinding Roman Catholic archbishop Fulton J. Sheen was a pioneering televangelist and prolific author, presently en route to sainthood.
