Extremely rare vintage 8x10-inch glossy black and white portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in green fountain pen in the late 1950s or early 1960s. In good condition for its age, with a few minor surface creases. Things were looking up for gorgeous Spanish singer, dancer and actress Margarita Sierra when she landed the plum role of nightclub performer Cha Cha O'Brien on T.V.'s "Surfside 6" (1960-1962), alongside Troy Donahue, Van Williams, Lee Patterson, and Diane McBain. The "Cha Cha Twist" she introduced on the show was released as a single and proved wildly popular. At the age of 27, she underwent surgery for a sudden heart problem and died the following day. Her autograph is understandably rare in any format.
