In very good condition. Hulking, Bronx-born character actor Richard X. Slattery played authority figures not to be reckoned with in films like Till the End of Time (1946), BUtterfield 8 (1960), The Boston Strangler (1968), Walking Tall (1973), and Black Eye (1974), but he was really a T.V. man. He was unforgettable as Sergeant John McKenna on "The Gallant Man" (1962-1963), Captain John Morton on "Mister Roberts" (1965-1966) and Captain Dewhurst on "The Andy Griffith Show" (1967-1968), and played numerous roles on "Rawhide" (1963-1965), "Gunsmoke" (1964-1970), "Bewitched" (1965-1972), "Bonanza" (1967-1972), and "I Dream of Jeannie" (1968), and "The Odd Couple" (1970).
