Exceptionally rare vintage inscribed turquoise fountain pen signature on a 3x5-inch off-white card, acquired in-person by inveterate collector Lee Gold in the 1950s and decorated with a small book image. In good condition. Familiar-faced character actor Abraham Sofaer was a performer of the J. Carrol Naish variety, cast as exotic foreigners and menacing villains. He is remembered for films like Dreyfus (1931), The Wandering Jew (1933), Rembrandt (1936), Things to Come (1936), The Ghosts of Berkeley Square (1947), Christopher Columbus (1949), Quo Vadis (1951), The Naked Jungle (1954), The Greatest Story Ever Told (1965), and Journey to the Center of Time (1967), as well as for classic episodes of the television programs "Perry Mason" (1958), "The Twilight Zone" (1960), "Gunsmoke" (1960-1962), and "Star Trek" (1966).
