Cat. #0038732: TERENCE STAMP

Sorry, this item has already been sold.

Terrific 8x10-inch color portrait as the villainous General Zod in Superman (1978), boldly signed in marker in the 1990s.  In very good condition.  English leading man Terence Stamp was something of an icon of the 1960s, electrifying in Billy Budd (1962), The Collector (1965), Modesty Blaise (1966), Poor Cow (1967), Far from the Madding Crowd (1967), and horror's Spirits of the Dead (1968) before a 10-year hiatus in India, sparked by his break-up with supermodel Jean Shrimpton.  He went on to excellent work in the Superman film series, The Hit (1984), The Company of Wolves (1984), Link (1986), The Sicilian (1987), Young Guns (1988), Alien Nation (1988), The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (1994), Star Wars: Episode I (1999), The Limey (1999), Yes Man (2008), and Wanted (2008).
