Cat. #00402122: SIMONETTA STEFANELLI

Sorry, this item has already been sold.

Beyond rare 10x8-inch color film still of the Italian beauty as Michael Corleone's doomed first wife, Apollonia, about to be blown to smithereens in The Godfather (1972), boldly signed in black felt-tip marker. This was one of just 12 photos she signed for a fan who located her at a beauty parlor at which she had been working in Italy! You will never see another! In very good condition and accompanied by a certificate from the third-party authenticator Beckett. Beyond a celebrated spread in Penthouse in 1973, Stefanelli would go on to make only a handful of films, including the role of Lucrezia Borgia in Luciano Ercoli's Lucrezia Giovane (1974), citing frustration with being reduced to a sexual object.
