Rare and nifty vintage 8 x 9.8-inch black and white publicity portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in black felt-tip pen in the early 1970s, not long before his death. In good condition, with slight trimming to the bottom border for framing purposes. Iconic B-movie villain and western star Glenn Strange is beloved of horror, sci-fi and fantasy buffs for his portrayals of Frankenstein’s monster in House of Frankenstein (1944), House of Dracula (1945) and Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein (1948). He also had supporting roles in The Mad Monster (1942), The Mummy’s Tomb (1942) and The Monster Maker (1944).
