RARE vintage 5x7-inch black and white portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint pen in the early 1950s. In good condition. Beautiful Carol Thurston, who was typically cast as exotic-looking heroines in cowboy flicks, was memorable in The Story of Dr. Wassell (1943), The Last Round-Up (1947), Apache Chief (1949), I, the Jury (1951), sci-fi's The Killer Ape (1943), and Yukon Vengeance (1954), as well as on classic episodes of a number of T.V. western programs. She died in a coma, following a suicide attempt by never-clarified means, at the age of 47, and her autograph is quite elusive in any format.
