Virtually impossible to find inscribed signature in black ink on a 3 x 5.5-inch yellow sheet, dating to about 1965. In good condition. Note that the image of the star shown here alongside the scan of the autograph is not included. We give the caveat that, as this is just the third example of the actress' signature we have ever encountered, it is someone difficult to authenticate beyond a shadow of a doubt, but it does look just like the other two exemplars we have seen. Enigmatically beautiful Edna Tichenor gained a sort of immortality as the pale, grim, dark-eyed companion of Lon Chaney's vampire in Tod Browning's now lost horror film London After Midnight (1927) and was also noteworthy in three other Browning flicks, including The Show (1927), in which she portrayed a sideshow performer posing as a giant spider with a woman's head!
