Vintage black fountain pen signature on a 4x6-inch light green autograph album page, acquired in-person in the 1930s. In good condition, with gentle edgewear, and an ink signature of Jean Parker on the verso. Nice for mating with a favorite photograph. English-born Arthur Treacher was Hollywood's quintessential majordomo, in films like Curly Top (1935), Thank You, Jeeves! (1936), Step Lively, Jeeves! (1937), Heidi (1937), and The Little Princess (1939). Elsewhere, he played clueless aristocrats, eccentric townsfolk and lighthearted constables, stealing scenes in David Copperfield (1935), Cardinal Richelieu (1935), Magnificent Obsession (1935), Anything Goes (1936), Satan Met a Lady (1936), National Velvet (1944), and Mary Poppins (1964).
