Rare and fabulous vintage 11x14-inch black and white portrait by Mitchell Studios-- the largest we have ever encountered-- signed and inscribed in blue fountain pen in 1929. In fine condition for its age, with creasing to the upper right-hand corner, which lightly cracks the surface of the image in that area; a white spot in the upper left-hand area, which is embedded within the photograph itself; and the writing just a hint light. Dubbed the Last of the Red-Hot Mamas, widely popular singer and actress Sophie Tucker will forever be remembered for her stentorian delivery of comical and risqué songs.
