Incredible vintage 8x10-inch black and white portrait of the of the two-time Oscar winner as Batiatus in Stanley Kubrick's Spartacus (1960), playfully inscribed to his co-star John Dall at the time of the film, with a quip about the torment of working under the difficult director: "To John Dall-- / In memory of the / attempted break-out from / Stalag Spartacus-- / Peter Ustinov." In good condition, with minor handling dings, and arguably the best signed photo of him we have ever encountered.
