Extraordinarily rare vintage blue fountain pen signature on a 4x6-inch pink album page, acquired in-person in 1959. In good condition, with a few gentle surface crinkles, and excellent for matting with a favorite photograph. Note that the image of the star shown here alongside the scan of the autograph is not included. A year after signing this autograph for a fan, South African leading man John Van Eyssen famously played Jonathan Harker in Hammer Horror's remake of Universal Studios' Dracula (1931), which would prove one of only a handful of movie appearances. This is just the second example of his autograph we have ever encountered.
