Ultra-rare vintage inscribed black fountain pen signature on a 4x5-inch tan autograph album page, acquired in-person by Hollywood hairstylist Lily Dirigo in 1929. In good condition. Note that the image of the star shown alongside the scan of the autograph here is not included. German-born Gustav von Seyffertitz was one of the silver screen's all-time great villain actors, beloved of horror, sci-fi, fantasy, and mystery film buffs for his portraysl of Professor Moriarty in 1922's Sherlock Holmes with John Barrymore; evil Mr. Grimes in Sparrows (1926); Professor Paul Coriolos in the early horror classic The Wizard (1927); Dr. Venrees in The Bat Whispers (1930); and a burghar in Son of Frankenstein (1939).
