Authoritative character actor John Warburton had supporting roles in films like A Study in Scarlet (1933), Charlie Chan's Greatest Case (1933), Becky Sharp (1933), Captain Fury (1939), The White Cliffs of Dover (1944), The Valley of Decision (1944), Dangerous Partners (1944), Tarzan and the Huntress (1947), Living in a Big Way (1947), City Beneath the Sea (1953), and East of Sumatra (1953), after which he settled into television work. The latter included noteworthy guest appearances on "Perry Mason" (1962), "Gunsmoke" (1962) and "Star Trek" (1966).
