Scarce signature in blue ink on a 4 x 5-inch pale orange autograph album page, acquired in-person in the 1960s. A gentle crease along the left edge, but, overall, in very good condition. Superb for matting. The beloved roly-poly British character actress played midwives, barmaids, nannies, landladies, and factory workers in scores of classic films. Memorable as Frau Helga Lang in Hammer Studios' The Brides of Dracula (1960), she made several other notable contributions to the horror, sci-fi and fantasy genres, including Alias John Preston (1955), Child's Play (1954), Night Must Fall (1964), The Bed Sitting Room (1969), What Became of Jack and Jill? (1972), O Lucky Man! (1973), and The Blue Bird (1976).
