Scarce vintage signature in fountain pen on a 4x6-inch light orange card, dating to the late 1940s. In very good condition, with gentle wear to the edges and corner tips. Prodigiously talented child and teenage actress Virginia Weidler entered films with Surrender (1931) at the age of three, and went on to memorable work in Mrs. Wiggs of the Cabbage Patch (1934), The Women (1939), The Spellbinder (1939), The Philadelphia moStory (1940), Young Tom Edison (1940), All This, and Heaven Too (1940), Babes on Broadway (1941), and The Affairs of Martha (1942). She died of a heart attack at the age of 42 and her autograph is rather uncommon in any format.
