Uncommon vintage signature in fountain pen on a 4x6-inch pale yellow autograph album page, acquired in-person in the 1930s and decorated by the original collector with a magazine image.  In good condition.  The chiseled stage actor was hand-selected by Cecil B. DeMille to portray Marc Antony in Cleopatra (1934), establishing a long collaboration which also yielded The Crusades (1935), Unconquered (1947), Samson and Delilah (1949), Sunset Boulevard (1950), The Greatest Show on Earth (1952), The Ten Commandments (1956), and The Buccaneer (1958).  Elsewhere, he alternatively played leading and character roles in films like The Last of the Mohicans (1936), If I Were King (1938), Mysterious Mr. Moto (1938), Tarzan Finds a Son (1939), Mrs. Miniver (1942), A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court (1949), The War Lord (1965), the sci-fi flick Doomsday Machine (1972), F.I.S.T. (1978), Caddyshack (1980), and the horror turkey Sweet 16 (1983).
