Rare fountain pen signature on a 3 x 1-1/8 portion of a letter or document.  In fine condition, with gentle toning and fading, and a vertical crease near the left edge, well away from the writing.  Nice for matting with a portrait of the devastatingly witty and personally troubled author and playwright.
