Cat. #005901: FAY WRAY

Sorry, this item has already been sold.

Uncommonly early inscribed signature in blue indelible pencil on a 4x6-inch pale yellow autograph album page, acquired in-person in the early 1930s, around the time she played Ann Darrow in King Kong (1933). In fine condition for its age, with some damp-staining to the right edge, well away from the writing. Lovely, iconic leading lady Fay Wray made several other important contributions to the horror, sci-fi and fantasy genres, including A Lover's Oath (1925), Doctor X (1932), The Most Dangerous Game (1932), The Vampire Bat (1933), Mystery of the Wax Museum (1933), and Black Moon (1934).
