Extremely uncommon vintage pencil signature in both Western and Chinese characters on a 4x6-inch pale pink autograph album page, acquired in-person in the 1930s. In good condition and accompanied by a small book image. Chinese-American character actor Victor Sen Yung is best remembered for his portrayal of Jimmy Chan, the dimwitted "number two son" in 11 Charlie Chan films between 1938 and 1942. As he left temporarily left acting to pursue the military career glimpsed in this photograph, he was replaced by Benson Fong. Later in life, he found new fame as the cook Hop Sing on T.V.'s "Bonanza" (1959-1973).
