Cat. #0054711: HELEN VINSON

Sorry, this item has already been sold.

Uncommon vintage black fountain pen signature on a 2x4-inch tan card, acquired in-person in the early 1930s. Mounting remnants on the verso, two small stains to the right of the writing and a few minor suface dings; otherwise, in good condition for its age. Supporting actress Helen Vinson was typically relegated to "loose woman" or femme fatale roles, as in Jewel Robbery (1932), I Am a Fugitive from a Chain Gang (1932), The Kennel Murder Case (1933), The Wedding Night (1935), and The Thin Man Goes Home (1945). She was memorable in two sci-fi and horror flicks, playing Varia Lloyd in Maurice Elvey's Transatlantic Tunnel (1935) and Chloe Donovan in George Sherman's The Lady and the Monster (1944).
